The Development Department at MSK is seeking an experience Planned Giving Officer to join their team.
As the Planned Giving Officer , you will:
Engage in pro-active donor cultivation and solicitation through regular personal visits with key prospects nationwide.
Participate in follow-up calls to major and planned giving donors, and maintain meaningful relationships.
Utilize tracking system for reporting on completion of assigned follow-up contacts, and the results achieved.
Develop strategies for major and planned gift donors and prospects assigned areas.
Respond to donors for recent outright gifts. Assess capacity and interest as potential planned giving prospects.
Respond with sample proposals geared toward a variety of planned gift vehicles
Develop and organize planned giving health education and cultivation events.
A passion for developing and maintaining relationships with donors.
A Bachelor's Degree AND five years of development or related field, including three years of planned giving experience.
A valid driver's license and the ability to travel frequently to donor meetings and events, nationwide.
The flexibility to work some evenings.
