Lead Dispensary Assistant - School of Dental Medicine-(17001542)

The Lead Dispensary Assistant is responsible for determining adequate inventory levels of dental materials and clinic supplies for patient care, workshops, and licensing exams within the clinic. The individual will be responsible for placing orders, review and track status, and follow-up on back orders. Work closely with the Dispensary Assistants to review all supplies for expiration dates and prepare monthly expiration report.
Anticipate/plan, organize and supply all necessary dental materials and instruments required for licensure exams and workshops.
Individual will be expected to understand the operations of all the dispensaries and provide support where needed and provide coverage on any floor.
The individual will be the back up to the supervisor and be knowledgeable on the operations of all floors.
The individual will be trained on the processes of the central storeroom and be able to provide support on an as needed basis.
2-3 years related experience.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to lift 30 lbs with or without accommodation.
Axium database knowledge.
Strong understanding of dental instruments and materials.
Understanding of OSHA healthcare guidelines.
Vocational/technical training or certified dental assistant desirable.
