The Ohio State University invites applications for the Roy Lichtenstein Endowed Chair of Studio Art. This chair will reside in the Department of Art and have a research focus on Studio Art. The inaugural Lichtenstein Chair will be an established artist, appointable at the professor or associate professor level, with a distinguished exhibition record who, in the spirit of Roy's legacy of innovative and original experimentation, crosses fluidly between disciplines and might work in a diversity of material and conceptual forms. The endowment provides discretionary funding for the Professor's research, sponsorship of lectures, travel to conferences, work with graduate students and other similar expenses relating to professional projects.
