The position is involved in planning, budgeting, forecasting, facility planning and reporting for the FL PSU. This position will be responsible for the supervision, coordination and management of all practice support activities within the clinical PSU in FL. This position has a dotted-line, matrix management coordination responsibility to other Enterprise Management staff located within various markets including each market's dyad leadership as well as corporate departments such as Quality, DataRAP, Clinical Operations, ELT and PLT. Primary Responsibilities: The responsibilities of this position demand a wide range of capabilities including: strategic planning and analysis skills; understanding of managed care; management breadth to direct and motivate; highly developed communication skills; and the ability to develop clear action plans and drive process, given often ambiguous issues with numerous interdependencies. The Director, Enterprise PSU Operations is responsible for providing strategic guidance to each markets individual PSU team and will ensure consistency among training, standard operating procedures and policies. This position will coordinate and ensure compliance with enterprise PSU operations and procedures.
Required Qualifications:Registered Nurse or LPN licensure 6+ years of regional or senior-level management experience in medical practice management or other healthcare related field Ability to demonstrate independent initiative, make sound decisions using effective problem-solving techniques Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to interface effectively internally with all levels of staff and executive leadership members and externally with a wide range of people/entities including physicians, office staff, hospital executives, medical groups, and IPA's Possess excellent problem solving skills with effective follow through Solid management and supervisory skills (i.e. employee selection, training, coaching and development as well as process management) Deep understanding of medical care delivery Effective ability to develop interpersonal relationships Ability to develop and present comprehensive reports Ability to effectively communicate (both written and verbal) in a professional manner Proficiency in basic computer systems and applicationsPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Healthcare or Business Administration or a related field 6+ years of directly related experience in medical practice management or healthcare related field specialized in HEDIS/Stars improvementIf the hired individual resides in Florida (office based or telecommuting) this position requires the AHCA Level II background check (fingerprinting) by the State of Florida for all clinicians that have direct face to face contact with members OR employees who will have access to confidential patient data and will require renewal every five years.
