The Vascular Access Team is an all RN team that provides support to the hospitals and clinic for difficult PIV insertions, midline insertions, PICC insertions, PICC maintenance and care, implanted port access and de-access, de-clotting lines, dialysis line access and de-access. Service is provided for both adult and pediatric patient populations.
Constant exposure to usual hospital environmental conditions including possible exposure to blood and body fluids for which staff is provided education and protective equipment to minimize risk. Ability to lift, bend, stoop, reach, carry, push, pull and walk throughout the work period. Must be able to use all senses: seeing, hearing, touching, smelling, and speaking. Able to lift 35 lbs. Able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation.
2 year hospital experience
Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license
Bachelor of Science in Nursing for external candidates.
