We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a FGP Billing Representative.
In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for following up with insurance companies to handle business to business collections.
Responsible for all aspects of follow up and collections on accounts. This includes making outbound calls to payers and accessing payer websites.
Manage/maintain desk inventory, complete reports and resolve high priority items, including aged reporting.
Evaluate payments and follow up with insurance companies.
Review denial claims.
Submit appeals as needed.
Research refund requests.
Adhere to policy and procedures.
To qualify you must have High School diploma required. Minimum 2 years of insurance collections experience required or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with EMR required. Knowledge and understanding of Medical Revenue Cycle. Familiar with reading and understanding EOBs.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
