The Rehabilitation Unit at St. Mary's boasts a state of the art department with 24 beds, lift equipment in every room, and a rehab gym right on the unit, overlooking scenic Grand Junction. Due to the increased number of beds and our ever increasing census, we have day and night full time opportunities for RNs looking for a real career opportunity. We support the education of our nurses seeking national certification, and have several CRRN certified RNs, with several more in the process. Any RN obtaining CRRN is reimbursed for the examination. We have a clinical ladder program for RNs, and a great tuition reimbursement program. We are on the Magnet journey, and our unit has shared governance and a unit council.
We work as an interdisciplinary team of nurses, providers, therapists and case managers to increase the patient's level of functional independence and improve quality of life after a trauma, stroke, or during chronic illnesses. We have a cohesive interdisciplinary team that rounds M-F, and a weekly team meeting. Join a team that is second to none!
Our benefits and compensation package is excellent, and as part of SCL Health, we are a non-profit, faith based organization.
