Advertised Summary Job Description: We are seeking to hire a Short-Term Casual to work on a breast cancer prevention study, which utilizes novel health technology. The incumbent will work under the supervision of the Project Manager to assist with data management and cleaning. Help design, create and deploy relational database management systems. Assist with writing code and programs; data documentation and tracking; and data reporting.
Perform data analysis, and assist with data management and reporting activities. Help build and maintain relational databases. Retrieve data from various sources, import and merge into databases. Work with team to understand and maintain data integrity and reporting requirements. Perform quality assurance of data and queries for research quality assurance and reporting. Generate reports and analyses as requested by principal investigators. Perform additional related duties as assigned.
General Minimum Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalency required.
The candidate selected for this position is required to undergo a drug screening test prior to a final offer of employment being made.
Additional Specific Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and at least two years of related experience with training in quantitative research. Experience in cleaning and managing research datasets using SQL, SAS, R or STATA; working with data in healthcare, medical, or research settings; knowledge of developing and maintaining relational databases with MS SQL, MySQL, Microsoft Access, or Filemaker; proficiency with Microsoft Office. Ability to work independently and multi-task. Attention to detail and have oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Python, Excel, Git, Jira, HTML and Qualtrics.
