The candidate will work with the Global Quantitative Strategy research team developing new investment strategies and models to be published in research reports.
Help in the implementation of new research ideas using new-age analytics.
Involved in developing new tools to assist idea generation.
Involved in finding bottle necks in existing processes and finding innovative solutions (automation).
Working with Quantitative Strategists to improve client offerings.
Highly analytical, numerate and detailed minded.
Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science, Maths, Statistics, Finance or similar analytical field.
3 + years of experience programming in Matlab and SQL.
Experience in R or Python, VBA, Microsoft Office, and experience working with third-party data vendors (FactSet, Bloomberg, Thomson-Reuters) would be an advantage.
A passion for Big Data and experience working with large and unconventional data sets. Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
An interest in finding solutions to analytical problems using out-of-the-box methods.
A passion for automation.
Strong communication skills. Proven ability and willingness to work as a member of a team.
