DATA VISUALIZATION SPECIALIST, Urban Studies and Planning (DUSP)-SENSEable City Laboratory, to assume a position involving the graphic visualization of datasets provided by various industries and public entities, including telecommunications, healthcare, transportation, and urban or municipal planning. Responsibilities include working with lab researchers, collaborators, and sponsors to interpret and produce unique data visualizations for a variety of research projects; preparing visualizations for publication in online and print media (academic and popular) and at exhibitions; and creating and maintaining a basic archival management system for storage, access, and retrieval of data and project files.
The SENSEable City Laboratory conducts research involving the use and visualization of real-time data sets generated by urban networks and systems. Additional information about the laboratory and its projects is available at http://senseable.mit.edu.
