Documents & Databases
Completes activities associated with the creation and maintenance of documents and databases such as: Prepares manuscripts, grants, scientific, technical &/or statistical documents, etc. Proofs for spelling & grammar. Enters information into spreadsheets &/or databases. Creates equations. Compiles routine reports, statistics, tables, charts, etc. from readily available information.
Budget & Financial/Accounting
Completes activities associated with budget, finance and/or accounting such as: verifying, investigating and reconciling processes and transactions associated with accounts payables &/or receivables; income &/or expense; over/under budget problems; payroll, grants, etc. Enters, tracks, & maintains documentation & logs. Prepares reports & spreadsheets.
Coordinates calendar – supervisor’s &/or dept. Coordinates travel arrangements. Coordinates events which may include scheduling rooms &/or guest speaker & arranging for routine materials, technology & refreshments.
Provides information via phone, e-mail, mail, etc. Represents supervisor in routine/standard situations with various levels of personnel both internally & externally.
