Major Duties: General Summary: The Upward Bound Program serves students in grades 9-12, first generation and/or low income high school students. - Collaborates with the program director in coordinating and implementing program operations, including college visits, field trips, summer programs, career workshops and family events. - Maintains records and databases of student and family engagement and participation. Monitors and maintains data collections for required program reports. - Maintains relationships with target schools and provides services to participants on college access processes. - Collaborates with campus departments and community organizations to provide educational curriculum for program participants. - Develops retention strategies, evaluates programming and researches best practices for program improvement. - Ensures compliance with department, University and state and federal policies and procedures. - Supervises and trains student employees.
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field from an accredited institution. - Two years of relevant experience.
