Now in its successful 9th year, the PSUBSW Program is the only undergraduate social work degree offered in a public institution of higher education in Oregon. The program has distinguished itself in offering a CSWE accredited curriculum that emphasizes critical thinking, innovative pedagogy, and anti-oppressive and equity-aligned social work practice.
Instructors who demonstrate an interest in and ability to realize the mission, values, and vision of the School are strongly encouraged to apply, particularly those with knowledge of and demonstrated commitment to racial equity and critical/anti¬ oppression/social justice frameworks. Qualified instructors are regularly hired to teach the following courses. Beginning in Fall 2019, all courses will be offered online through BSW Program Hybrid Option.

M.S. or M.A. in Social Work (or closely related field), and two or more years in combination of the following: - field liaison; or - BSW/MSW field instructor; or - staff supervisor; or - social work educator, trainer or community member in service to the PSUSSW
Previous graduate teaching experience. Prefer experience with online instruction for faculty interested in teaching online.
