The Chemistry Program of Stockton University is seeking to fill a one year visiting position at the Assistant Professor or Instructor level in the areas of General and Introductory Organic Chemistry. Classes for the Fall 2017 semester begin Tuesday, September 5th and faculty are expected to return to campus on Thursday, September 1st.
Teaching responsibilities will include General or Organic Chemistry lecture and/or laboratory sections at the introductory level.
Teaching load is 12 teaching credit hours per academic year, with lecture courses carrying 4 teaching credit hours and
laboratories 2 teaching credit hours.
Evening teaching responsibilities are possible.

Qualifications for Instructor Level:
ABD or Master’s degree in Chemistry or related area required for appointment as instructor.
Qualifications for Assistant Professor Level:
A Ph.D. in Chemistry or related field is required for appointment as an Assistant Professor.
Teaching experience in introductory courses of General and Organic Chemistry is a plus.
Salary commensurate with experience.
