Provide bio-psychosocial assessments to adults on probation or monitored at the pretrial level to determine the programs and/or services they may benefit from, facilitate cognitive behavioral therapy groups with offenders, facilitate anger management groups for male and female offenders, provide individual therapy to address mental health concerns, substance abuse issues and post-traumatic stress disorder, provide couples therapy to address relationship needs, provide advocacy and linkage to community resources, and any other therapy deemed necessary. Provide written reports for the Courts as necessary.
Must meet the minimum requirement of a Master's Degree who is licensed as a Clinical Social Worker or Clinical Professional Counselor through the State of Illinois. Must be a resident of the State of Illinois within 90 days of hiring.
Prefer experience with the criminal adult population. A working knowledge of evidenced based practices also a plus.

The Department of Court Services includes the Adult Probation, Juvenile Probation and Juvenile Detention Center divisions. Our Resource Intervention Center, a part of Adult Probation, provides services to probationers that include counseling, education, treatment, job readiness, etc. We employ two LCSWs to assist with individual and group counseling for Adult offenders and individual counseling for Juvenile offenders.
