MHM has an opportunity for a full-time Continuous Quality Improvement Manager and several CQI RN’s in the Northeast.
The duties include:
Supports site-specific CQI meetings and audits, and general coordination of compliance issues
Helps formulate and design contract-specific policies and procedures
Acts as liaison to compliance auditors and other external regulatory agencies
Develops, organizes and implements staff training to conduct site-specific QA/CQI studies
Monitors and trends performance indicators, utilization, and critical incidents
Maintains and trends Department of Corrections (DOC)
Conducts QA/CQI studies and audits and enter data
Provides statistical analysis for all QA/CQI indicators
Prepares written reports and presentations on audit findings
Helps provide system analysis to promote “best practice” in the delivery of inmate care
Assists in standardizing clinical processes and practice to promote uniform and high quality of care
Facilitates CQI meetings and take meeting minutes
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in Quality Assurance/Improvement preferred.
Certification as a Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred.
Two years’ supervisory experience preferred.
Minimum of two years’ experience in health information, quality, utilization or risk management.
Knowledge of statistics, data collection, analysis, and data presentation.
Must show current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR certification.
Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance. Proficiency with MS Office including Excel and Access, creating databases and spreadsheets using formulas, statistical analysis, trending, etc.
