Full Job Title: Registered Nurse – N3W- Medical Complexity Unit - Part time (40 hours/pay) 7am-3:30pm
The medical complexity unit is a 19 bed unit serving the needs of patients with a primary medical diagnosis, who also have a co -occurring mental health or substance abuse issue. This unit will be located on N3W. The patients we will treat are patients who were previously cared for throughout many units of the hospital, by cohorting these patients it will allow for more focused care for the patient and better preparation for staff. RN to Patient ratio will be 1:4. Management of the patient care will be a co led model with the hospitalist and the psychiatrist.
Registered Nurse in PA with a minimum of 1 year experience in an acute care setting. Clinical specialty training/certification provided specific to the area of practice.
