We're seeking a Nurse Manager to join our team! The Nurse Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising the effective and efficient use of health and medical related services in our Subacute and Community Based Services programs to ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations, accrediting bodies (Joint Commission) and nursing practice standards. The Nurse Manager assumes the authority, responsibility and accountability for the delivery of nursing and medical assistant services in Subacute and Community Based Services. The Nurse Manager collaborates with other programs, medical professionals, consultants and organizations, including government agencies and advocacy groups to develop, support, and coordinate care related to administrative functions and to represent the interests of the organization. This position manages the Lead Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Nurses, and Medical Assistant.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university; must possess an unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Oregon and maintain good standing with the Oregon Nursing Board; have at least two years' nursing experience, with related experience in the mental health field; have at least three years' experience in nursing administration or management; possess strong leadership, organizational and communication skills; have the ability to relate effectively with clients and families and respond to crisis situations; and be able to meet agency driving requirements. A criminal background check is required.
