The Becker Friedman Institute is seeking an experienced research professional for the Macro Financial Modeling initiative. The research professional will:**Work directly with Professor Lars Peter Hansen to develop new approaches for comparing macrofinancial models used in macroprudential policymaking and systemic risk measurement and management. **Collaborate with Professor Hansen and a small team of MFM faculty and students to build a high-quality MFM model repository, identify ways to make model building accessible to a larger community of students and scholars, and manage the model repository on the MFM website with guidance from the project directors. **Conduct original research under the guidance of the MFM project directors, researchers, and related BFI staff to achieve the aims of the project and disseminate MFM research to the broader academic and policy communities.
