The Product Support Sales Representative is a professional sales person possessing an in-depth knowledge of the company and its products, services and support programs. The PSSR meets with customers and prospects to identify opportunities for parts/service sales and works closely with both Parts and Service Managers to quote and follow-up with new and existing accounts.
This open position will support locations in Arizona, Nevada , California and surrounding areas and will be based out of any branch within those areas. Relocation not required but candidate must live within range and quick accessibility of listed region.
Maintains a sales program within the area based on customer requirements
Informs customers of supply and price trends
Responsible for securing and renewing orders and arranging delivery dates
Supports internal sales, service and parts departments
Assists with past due account balances
Performs inspections on cranes as per request by customers and or insurance companies
Compiles and prepares lists and labor estimates for quotes
Provides customers with technical support
Provides operator and maintenance orientation on new equipment
Researches and delivers parts to customers
Establishes and maintains relationships with new and existing customers, sets up new vendors
Works closely with Parts and Service Managers to accomplish monthly sales goals
Increases sales of replacement parts and solicits revenue repair work on equipment
Provides exceptional customer support through timely communications and excellent service
Follows-up on sales calls
Delivers “Welcome to H&E” packet within 1 week of delivery of a new or used machine
Completes inspections on time and discuss the results with the customer
Organizes the territory in order to maximize selling time
Insures scheduled maintenance is performed in a timely manner
Knows the complete product line (in area of responsibility)
A minimum 3 – 5 years of sales experience within the construction equipment industry
Must have clean driving record with the ability to travel
Great customer relation and interpersonal skills
Proactive approach to gaining clientele
Knowledge of Crane Equipment, AT’s, RT’s, Crawler’s of any brand a plus
