(sm)The Clinical Administrative Coordinator provides routineadministrative support to the Utilization Management team. Including but notlimited to answering provider lines, and demonstrating exceptional customerservice. The Clinical Administrative Coordinator plays a key role inbuilding professional relationships with external stakeholders and internalcustomers. Primary Responsibilities:Data entry of client information into designated database / ElectronicHealth Record (EHR) System Processing and tracking inpatient and outpatientauthorization requests within designated turnaround times Distribution ofappropriate work products to clinical teams for clinical review.Update and validate demographic and diagnosis informationin (EHR) as neededScanning of documents for retention and filing ofdocumentsPurging of documentsFacsimile and photocopy duties; other assistance toclinical support team member as needed with overall direction from ClinicalSupport SupervisorEfficiently answer incoming calls and provide prompt andcourteous service to customers and guests. Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED2+ years of customer service experience analyzing and solving customer problems2+ years of Data experience in administrative or clerical support roleMust be able to create, edit, save and send documents utilizing Microsoft Word,Excel, AdobeMust be able to type 50-60 WPM, accurately Must be able to navigate a PC to open multiple applications, send emails, andconduct data entryMust be able to gain and maintain access to the County of San Diego'selectronic health record – Cerner / CCBHPreferred Qualifications: College graduate (any degree)Experience working within the Healthcare Industry or Healthcare InsuranceExperience working in a Hospital, Physician's Office, or Medical ClinicalsettingProfessional experience in a clerical or administrative support related roleWorking Knowledge of Medical Terminology to communicate with members andprovidersExperience working with ICD-10 and CPT codesExperience working with Medicare and / or Medicaid ServicesExperience working in a call center environment Careers with Optum.
