The Head of Regional Product Office for Asia Pacific, reporting into the Regional Head of Cash Products & Client Connectivity, Asia Pacific, will work over the Regional Product Engagement and Methodology Team (E&M), forming an essential link between the Regional Product Execution and Commercialization Teams (E&C) and the global CCM Product Teams.
Key responsibilities include development and maintenance of a CCM Product database, provide product information and implement regional documentation standards, i.e. KOPs, available through a joint access channel. The role will also coordinate Product incidents/outages, works with business partners to understand and manage the client impact and support IT and operations to identify and remediate root causes. Additional responsibilities also include monitoring of regional factory costs (incl. Branch level CIR, profitability and cost allocations), identification of local optimization levers (independently and in collaboration with global team) and implementation of measures to increase branch efficiency.
In collaboration with the regional E&C Teams, E&M joins local Product review meetings, consolidates country product offerings, supports with New Product Approval (NPA) and New Transaction Approval (NTA) process. E&M also gathers and documents information on pricing frameworks as well as risk reviews and supports the teams with the planning and execution of cross-regional campaigns, events and internal transformational and change initiatives.
Hand in hand with the global Methodology and Execution Team (M&E), you will be involved in determining geographic priorities in terms of regional product and investment resourcing/prioritization and driving Talent Training and Development initiatives. E&M provides regional input into global CCM Product frameworks and strategy.
The role will also involve acting as PMO, ensuring discipline across the regional CCM Product Team and supporting the team with ad hoc requests, regional reporting, fire drill actions and taking ownership in special projects.
Market Engagement & Feedback:
Assess and analyze product needs and opportunities (Reg/Tech/Market Infrastructure/Geography).
Support sales channels with product expertise.
Strategy and Commercialization:
Provide regional / local input to product strategy and roadmap.
Work with country product teams to define adequate / profitable E2E Cash offering per country / region (Payments & Collections, Accounts, FX, Client Connectivity, etc.).
Conduct product benchmarking and competitor analysis as input to SPRs and strategy process.
Commercialize product strategy.
Support sales channels in launching campaigns.
Product Governance / Frameworks:
Execute regional/local NPA and NTA approval process based on global standards.
Create local product catalogue and map to global products.
Non-Financial Risk / Safety & Soundness:
Ensure local adherence to risk policies and frameworks.
Ensure compliance with all local regulations and internal policies in collaboration with respective Infrastructure partners.
Remediate and mitigate risk; Lead Regional/Local Audit items and Regional/Local Self-Identified Issues (SIIs).
Pricing & Deal Reviews:
Provide regional market inputs to influence global minimum pricing framework.
Implement pricing framework and approve / decline pricing outside framework through Regional CCM Deal & Product Review Forum.
Secretariat to the Regional CCM Deal & Product Review Forum.
P&L and Performance Management:
Manage country level and regional Product Profitability and KPIs focusing on CIR.
Perform Cash Products country reviews.
CCM Cash Coordination:
Manage interface to local Regulators via the relevant regulatory affairs teams and country product teams, when needed.
You will have:
Recognized university degree (or comparable education).
PMO type skills and understanding of Programme/Project Management disciplines.
Comprehensive CCM industry experience and deep expertise on client needs and market trends.
Proven track record managing CCM Sales and/or Structuring teams.
Excellent global network across CIB.
You will be someone with:

Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate in a clear, concise manner at all levels.
