Department: School of Business Admin/Full-Time Job IRC#24758 This is a full-time, temporary, benefit based position with an anticipated duration of one year from the date of hire.Job Description: Work Responsibilities General Collaborate and integrate the SBDC with the main academic programs of the School of Business, Professional and Continuing Education, School of Engineering and School of Peace Studies and the university as a whole. Hire, train, supervise and evaluate center staff and coordinate work of assigned staff; supervise business consulting. Assist with special projects and activities, as needed, to enhance the reputation of the School of Business.
Client Management Develop and implement competitive marketing and recruitment strategies to promote the SBDC and its services to small businesses. Work closely with career services to match clients' employment and projects needs with student interns. Consulting and Coordination of Client Services Training Services and Events Coordinate with University departments to collaborate on events and opportunities to enhance the University's connection with the business and entrepreneurship community.
Center Development and Fundraising Reporting Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Experience: 4 years of experience in business management, small business development, international trade, consultant experience or economic development.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience: 8 years of experience in business management, small business development, international trade, consultant experience or economic development. Bilingual.
