Reporting to the Directors of International Admissions, the Assistant Director, International Admissions assists in the planning and implementation of student recruitment strategies and activities to increase the quality and number of international students. Participates in all aspects of admissions, student recruitment and marketing including, but not limited to, the representation of the university to wide and diverse audiences within the United States and overseas, evaluation of the credentials of applicants seeking admission according to university standards and requirements of particular programs, extensive overseas and domestic travel, secondary school and university visits, student interviews, written and e-mail correspondence, telephone out-reach to admitted students, and data entry of admissions information onto the university’s computer system.
1.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
2.Two years of work experience in college admissions or marketing, or a related field.
3.Effective oral and written communications and interpersonal skills.
4.Prior experience with computers and/or information systems.
5.Extensive travel is required, both domestic and overseas.
6.Valid driver's license, passport and accessibility to transportation.
7.Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
