As part of the Center for Patient and Professional Advocacy (CPPA), this position will support clients of the Patient Advocates Reporting System (PARS). The role will involve review and coding of sensitive data within established parameters.
Key Functions and Expected Performances:
Review and coordinate data processing activities.
Review narratives of sensitive data and assign predefined codes within established parameters.
Assist with aggregation and compilation of data for team review.
Perform general administrative support functions.
Participate in continuous quality improvement efforts to maintain high level of reliability within the coding function.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Minimum typing skills 30 WPM
Advanced reading comprehension level
Ability to receive frequent feedback on work product
Medical or research background
Understanding of hospital operations and structure
