Research Study Specialist – Thoracic Surgery
The Research Study Specialist serves as functional expert in the role of Research Study Assistant. As an integral member of the Thoracic Surgery research team and in compliance with all regulatory, institutional, and departmental requirements performs data collection, data entry, and analysis for research projects, databases, and research protocols within Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Utilizes appropriate methodologies to independently coordinate and collect human subject information for a research protocols and research project/database, as needed. Provides primary support for 2 phase I, immunotherapy trials; utilizes appropriate methodologies to independently coordinate and collect human subject information for these research protocol, as needed. Provides cross coverage; acts as a mentor to designated staff; and participates in special projects and task forces as determined by management.
High School Diploma with 3-4 years MSK clinical research experience required or 2 years experience as RSA I/II (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree); Clinical research experience is required.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm
