We are seeking a highly motivated, analytical SeniorCompensation Consultant - HR who encompasses strong interpersonal skills to perform advanced activities related to developing, analyzing, administering, and recommending compensation programs.
This role with be located at our headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
A Day In The Life COULD Include:
Developing, analyzing, coordinating, and completing internal/external studies and research projects including but not limited to:
Compensation and benefit surveys
Compensation structure designs
Compensation system implementation
Incentive and salary adjustments
Special job analysis reviews
Federal and state regulations, including Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)
Analyzing, calculating, and generating survey/research statistics and developing related
Monitoring trends in compensation activities to ensure plans are competitive and comply with
Governmental laws and regulations. Researching and preparing related recommendations for changes.
Responding to requests for information relative to compensation policies and procedures, job evaluation
programs, company benefits plans, and performance assessment procedures to employees, supervisors, industry peers, consultants, and others.
Recommending, developing and presenting compensation training and communication programs.
Collaborating, recommending and implementing reviews and changes to executive compensation plans.
Working with the senior executive team and provide market data on base salaries, short and long-term
incentives to support recommendations to the Board of Directors (as specified by position).
Administering the long-term incentive process including providing market data and recommendations on
participation levels, consolidating and reporting on business recommendations, working with the third
party vendor to maintain employee information and providing information to employees, supervisors,
executives and other impacted departments (as specified by position).
Assuming leadership roles, establishing and maintaining working relationships and actively participate in
local, industry, and national compensation groups and related activities. Researching roundtable issues
and communicating results through cooperative efforts with Human Resources representatives and/or
business unit management.
Compiling, verifying, analyzing, and/or recommending information and reports pertaining to:
Providing guidance and direction to other staff members. May lead and direct work of others.
Bachelor degree in human resources, business administration, related field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and the following job related experience:
Experience performing and thorough knowledge of various compensation functions and processes
involved in plan design, pay administration, and job evaluation.
Experience analyzing, compiling, calculating, and/or preparing job information and market data.
Comprehensive knowledge of job information across all business units.
Experience in use and function of tools and equipment applicable to position including utilizing computers (Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint).
Experience and training related to:
Human Resources computer applications (ERP) and report-writer applications
Governmental regulations applicable to compensation activities
Human Resources policies and procedures
Written communication skills
Experience developing and conducting salary, market, and/or benefit surveys, compiling data, and
preparing related recommendations.
Experience researching, analyzing, and preparing reports, questionnaires, surveys, job descriptions,
policies, procedures, and correspondence.
Experience interacting, training, and communicating effectively.
Experience developing information, conducting meetings, and making presentations to groups and
Experience reading and interpreting manuals, reports, governmental regulations, training materials, job information, policies, procedures, and correspondence.
