The Arts Education Collaborative is seeking a Manager of Programs and Communication. As a member of the AEC team, the manager coordinates program implementation, maintains organization's online presence, and develops and designs materials for publication.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Undergraduate degree required. Three or more years experience in arts, education, communication, and/or marketing/PR preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team. Knowledge of arts education programs and practices in K-12 schools and arts organizations. Demonstrated skills in project management. Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite; Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent; cloud-based platforms, e.g. Google Drive, Office 365; social media platforms; WordPress or other content management system; and online email clients. Strong interpersonal, spoken, and written communication skills. Ability to exhibit professional decorum at all times. Flexibility to interact effectively with a variety of constituents in the field, supporting AEC’s commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion. Exceptional organizational skills. Capacity to work independently within organizational structures. Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel regionally during and outside of scheduled work hours. Must be able to carry and transport materials.
