The Sr. Research Program Coordinator will coordinate and manage a large field survey of health, mental health, and aging to be conducted in Baltimore, MD. The Sr. Research Program Coordinator will also perform other tasks related to research coordination of the study..
Duties and Responsibilities:
*Closely supervising the data collection activities of 8-10 interviewers and 1-2 phlebotomist.
*Participate in data collection; monitoring study progress and updating study-tracking databases.
*Troubleshooting and resolving technical and personnel problems.
*Ensuring compliance with human subject's protocol for confidentiality of data handling.
*Preparing study documentation.
*Assisting with preparation and submission of Institutional Review Board (IRB) protocols and related IRB materials and of reports to funding agencies.
*Facilitating communication among investigators and study team members.
*Other project-related tasks as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in related discipline and three (3) years related experience. A valid drivers license and access to a car are required. Additional education may substitute for required experience, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
JHU Equivalency Formula: 30 undergraduate degree credits (semester hours) or 18 graduate degree credits may substitute for one year of experience. Additional related experience may substitute for required education on the same basis. For jobs where equivalency is permitted, up to two years of non-related college course work may be applied towards the total minimum education/experience required for the respective job.
