The Longitudinal Integrated Clerkship (LIC) Coordinator oversees the Primary Care-Population Medicine programâ??s third year clerkship model (the LIC). This position is responsible for coordinating activities over the course of the LIC. S/he collaborates with LIC students, the LIC leadership team and the block clerkship coordinators to effectively resolve problems and concerns. S/he helps collect and shares formative and summative data on studentsâ?? clinical skills performance, on faculty and mentor effectiveness, and on overall program effectiveness of the LIC.
Bachelorâ??s degree required with 3-5 years of related experience in an academic or healthcare environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Masterâ??s degree preferred.
Experience coordinating academic programs.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to efficiently prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal/communication skills with the ability to work effectively with students and as a member of a team.
Basic familiarity with the Alpert Medical School, Brown University, and greater Rhode Island medical communities is preferred
