This positionâ??s primary responsibility will be to provide support for a full range of data coordination, reporting, and administrative functions for the Advance Clinical and Translational Research (Advance-CTR) initiative. The incumbent plays a key role as a member of a centralized Administrative Core that supports Advance-CTR activities at six partnering entities across the state of Rhode Island. The incumbent will assist the Administrative Core Director and Managers with the collection and organization of program data for quarterly and annual reports. This person is responsible for assisting with the management of all Advance-CTR award programs. This includes coordinating the dissemination, tracking, and receipt of internal progress reports, data entry and data formatting, and providing support for review committee meetings. This person will also provide data related support to Advance-CTR service and support cores including assistance with set-up, implementation, and data entry into a web-based administrative management system, data entry into a VIVO based faculty profile system, the development of and data entry into a clinical research database, and monitoring compliance with Advance-CTR acknowledgement requirements.
Associates Degree plus 2-3 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and communication skills.
Working knowledge of spreadsheet, database, and word processing software.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and positively interact with people from diverse backgrounds.
Ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy.
Must be able to shift focus and priority in pressure environment.
Ability to work occasional evenings, early mornings, and/or weekends for special program needs.
