As a Robin Clinical Coach, you will be part of a team of doctors, nurses, social workers, and healthcare professionals that are working together to improve the experience of cancer patients and caregivers. We aim to see people fully, beyond their diagnosis or symptoms. We work with clients holistically, incorporating their values, emotions, resources, support network and challenges into how we best educate and support them through the cancer journey. As a coach, you will get to work closely with our clients from diagnosis through survivorship or end of life care on challenges big and small. As trusted advisors, we strive to be the first person our patients think to call when they have a question or concern.
A Day in the Life
We do lots of great things over the phone and through texting
Get a holistic view of who our clients are beyond their cancer diagnosis and current treatment. Understand what’s important to them, and who they are beyond the medical side in order to provide them information and options to make an informed decision about their true care needs.
Be a trusted resource and build strong relationships with clients. Building strong relationships enables a greater understanding of the individual you are helping. Those relationships drive our ability to help them make improved care decisions, and change their cancer experience for the better.
Educate and empower patients to navigate the cancer journey confidently, getting the right care at the right time. This includes advocating for patients when they need that help, doing legwork, and making the cumbersome feel easier.
Multitask using technology - you’ll be listening, talking, typing, all at one time. Being comfortable with and dedicated to learning changing tools will help you do what you do best - care for our clients.
All communication with clients is HIPAA compliant, private and secure.

Help build out our database of content and resources so we can continue to provide personalized, tailored care at a high quality level.

Master the ability to collaborate with team members to deliver the best possible service experience to our clients
Support a full time panel of clients with a high level of quality, demonstrated by client feedback surveys
Show the ability and capacity to accept and implement feedback
Have demonstrated education, skills and experience to be successful in this role.
Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) license.
5+ years nursing experience in oncology (telemedicine experience a bonus but not required)
Possess exceptional communication skills (both written and oral) and organization skills
Enjoy working collaboratively across many disciplines
Respond to challenges with patience, empathy, and tenacity

Have a high tolerance for ambiguity - change is how we grow!
