The facilities coordinator assists in managing the Washington College of Law facilities by being the primary contact for the parking program at the Washington College of Law along with coordinating facilities, maintenance, and event set up requests with maintenance and custodial personnel, vendors, contractors and other university departments. Provides office support including room scheduling, processing work requests, handling invoices, controlling door access, . This position receives a general level of supervision.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education, training, or experience related to facilities maintenance or construction.
Must be able to demonstrate ability to work with maintenance personnel
Must have an understanding of facilities planning and scheduling procedures
Must have the ability to work within department policy and procedures
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with professional, technical, administrative, and student personnel in a pleasant, professional, and efficient manner
The ability to work with minimal supervision is a must
Must have the ability to use various computer systems/software associated with facilities management
Experience working in a diverse cultural environment
Working knowledge of the room scheduling software, work order systems, and financial systems
