In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will be actively involved in the teaching of medical students, internal medicine residents, and cardiology fellows.

We seek applicants who hold an MD, MD/PhD or DO degree (foreign educational equivalent accepted) who are ABMS or acceptable equivalent board certified in Critical Care Medicine, with a specific interest and skillset in cardiovascular critical care. Qualified applicants may come from any of the core training programs that lead to critical care training including medicine, surgery, anesthesia or emergency medicine. The faculty member will also be a key member of the newly created WVU Critical Care and Trauma Institute that will supervise critical care at WVU.
