Support the strategic plan through collaborating with campus personnel in implementing strategies for the advancement of concurrent enrollment (Dual Credit, Dual Enrollment, Early/Middle College) initiatives across the District.
Collaborates with academic affairs and student affairs disciplines to provide consistent and excellent partnership-focused services, leadership and support.
Collaborates with school district and College personnel to promote, support, and lead Dual Credit, Dual Enrollment partnership, and Early/Middle college opportunities, including assisting provosts and student deans to ensure appropriate assessment, accurate placement, intrusive advising, and ongoing support of dual credit and dually enrolled students in a manner that enhances the likelihood of success.
Coordinates with academic deans to vet and credential new Dual Credit instructors.
Collaborates with Executive Director, academic deans, and department chairs/program coordinators to create pathways to credentials and degrees accessible to students beginning while concurrently enrolled in high school.
Works with Executive Director, campus teams, and Marketing and Communications to promote pathways to school district leadership, employees, counselors, and families as well as provide internal information sharing and marketing of new pathway opportunities.
Provides ongoing training for campus personnel in serving and matriculating students with dual credit, dual enrollment, and articulated credit.
Seeks out, fosters and maintains organizational relationships that will enhance and increase K-12 completion, success, and early college exposure. Fosters customer service environment and promotes team attitude of friendly customer service.
Collaborate with campus teams to provide training/staff development programs for St. Louis Community College campus personnel that will strengthen and expand the strategies that target the enrollment of younger students in dual credit, dual enrollment, early/middle college, and similar early education opportunities.
In tandem with the Registrar, Enrollment Services, and other relevant college staff, facilitate admissions and enrollment in dual credit courses.
Collaborate with DC/EP and College personnel to coordinate dual credit process, including faculty credentialing, course approval, student enrollment processing, and troubleshooting issues.
Gather performance data and provide reporting on metrics for the sake of improving effectiveness of Dual Credit, Dual Enrollment, and Early/Middle College in given part of the service region.
Facilitate Concurrent Enrollment information sessions for students, parents, and school district partners at the high schools and for homeschool organizations.
Collaborate with campus and school district teams to produce quarterly newsletter highlighting K-12 partnerships throughout the service area for the purposes of idea sharing, partnership development, and information delivery for both internal and external audiences.
Master's degree in Student Affairs, Higher Education, Counseling or related field, along with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a post-secondary or secondary setting related to job duties (counseling, advising, curriculum, etc.)
Bachelor's degree in mentioned fields along with seven (7) years of experience.
Knowledge of best practices in dual credit, dual enrollment, and middle college/early college experience.
Ability to collaborate with internal and external academic partners to create 2+2 pathways utilizing Department of Elementary and Secondary Education materials and STLCC materials academic program standards
Demonstrated excellent campus and staff leadership with a collaborative, College-wide focus.
Ability to be an innovative problem solver.
Ability to cultivate team environment and cross-campus collaborations.
