Located in Saint Paul, Minnesota's historic Cathedral Hill area, the Dean of Student Success will provide overall leadership for the effective operation and management of key programs and operations within Student Affairs, including assessment, orientation, student life, diversity and inclusion; veteran's services; career and placement services; TRiO programming; advising and counseling services; and tutoring services. In addition, the Dean is responsible for all student conduct and compliance, including Title IX and the CARE Team (Behavioral Intervention Team).
Responsibilities include developing a student retention and persistence plan that is part of the College's Strategic Enrollment Management plan. The Dean ensure students are supported in their academic pathway from the point of orientation to graduation/transfer. directing Student Retention and The Dean of Student Success works closely with the Academic Deans responsible for developmental education to increase student success and transition to college-level coursework. This person will also design and implement academic planning and advising process to support student success, primarily focused on students at risk. This position reports to the Vice President of Student Affairs and is a member of the College management team.
2 years expereience administration and supervision experience in student affairs/development or developmental education.
