Located in the heart of the capital city of Saint Paul, MN, the Dean of Institutional Research, Planning, and Grants provides executive leadership, management and supervision for the effective operation and management of all institutional research, planning, and grants. This position's purpose is to develop, implement and manage the college-wide institutional research, data and planning by providing valid and reliable information to support informed decision making by the College administration and faculty, and direct college-wide master planning, accountability initiatives, enrollment management, sustainability and institutional and programmatic accreditation and other emergent research needs. The position oversees grant development, compliance, and reporting functions at the College. In addition, this position must develop, review and manage budgets and develop, amend and institute policies and procedures. This position serves on the College Management team and facilitates programs and partnerships with community agencies, secondary and higher education institutions and the System office.
Responsibilities include the coordination of program and college-wide accreditation initiatives including the AQIP portfolio and accreditation; enrollment predictive modeling; coordination of data collection, documentation, analysis, and reporting of institutional and academic research data for strategic planning, accountability, and continuous quality improvement; grant development and reporting; and project management. The Dean reports to the President and is a member of the President's Cabinet.
Master's degree in statistics or a closely related technical specialty;
Three years of experience in a college or university environment;
Thorough understanding and knowledge of quanitative analysis, statistics, database queries and writing analytical reports
Project Management experience and skills
