The Athletic Department at St. Cloud State University is seeking applications for adjunct (part-time) Assistant Golf Coaches for the 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 academic years.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist head coach with the day-to-day operations of a Division II Men's and Women's Golf program..
Organization of practice and training times in coordination with other golf staff/athletic department staff.
Team travel and coordination.
Communicate with student-athletes regarding practice, competition and travel plans.
Assist with athlete development.
Assist with promotions and marketing of program.
Assist in coordination of home golf meets.
Compliance knowledge of and commitment to NCAA, Conference, Institutional policies and procedures.
Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Coaching experience and or playing experience at the collegiate level
Understanding of comprehensive duties of collegiate coach
NCAA off-campus recruiting certification or ability to gain certification immediately
Evidence of the ability to work with persons from culturally diverse backgrounds
Evidence of a valid driver's license, or ability to acquire a legal driver's license or qualify for a reasonable accommodation
Collegiate Coaching experience or Playing experience at NCAA DI, DII, or DIII level
Appointment is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check.
