Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Talent Acquisition Candidate Engagement Specialist. This team member will be a highly-motivated individual with experience in and passion for social networking, recruiting, and building candidate pipelines. In this dynamic role, you will directly manage day-to-day social media presence by replying to comments; working with teams on responses; and generating, editing, publishing and sharing daily content that builds meaningful connections and encourages candidates to engage. You will interact with the external advertising agency to promote our employer brand in our existing online spaces and any new spaces developed with the goal of engaging talent and building talent pipelines and serve as our external voice.
The Candidate Engagement Specialist will collaborate closely with team members across the organization to ensure integration of marketing and communication efforts, on-brand messaging and assets, and successful outcomes in support of recruiting top talent. In addition, you will be responsible for building talent communities and driving candidate engagement, developing and maintaining our Candidate Relationship Management Tool as well as, educating and training users on all social recruiting tools and best practices. You will continuously improve by capturing and analyzing appropriate social media data/metrics, then acting on the information.
Maintains and optimizes NYULMC'S presence on social networks and blogs. Maintains NYULMC'S presence on Employer Review Sites and Job Seeker Forums. Develops and implements Unique Social Recruiting Strategies with use of LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. Engages targeted talent on social media. Develops Original Digital Media Plans including a unique combination of various solutions including but not limited to: Job Search Aggregators, Niche Job Sites, Google Ad Words, Banner Advertising delivered through Ad Exchanges and Social Solutions. Monitors online conversations and participates in them to build brand visibility and thought leadership.
Understands crisis communications in the event of a negative post and is politically savvy in responding to negative or even inflammatory issues. Responds effectively and efficiently to ensure any negative posts are addressed appropriately. Identifies threats and opportunities in user-generated content surrounding our employer brand and report to appropriate parties.
Coordinates the social content calendar. Creates original content that will resonate with the target audience. Curates relevant content to re-share, and create original Status Updates, Blog Posts, and Articles. Creates multi-media content for various social channels (Plasma Screens, Photos, Videos, etc.) Builds and maintains our content distribution network by way of social media channels. Identifies and repurposes content from multiple hospital departments. Interacts with legal and marketing departments when appropriate.
Uses social media analytic tools to review content performance and continually find ways to improve on those metrics via reporting and new initiatives. Monitors online conversations about the employer brand (brand listening) and trends to see which content resonate best with the community. Gathers, analyzes and reports on metrics. Prepares and creates monthly/quarterly social metrics to measure the effectiveness of our efforts. Creates quarterly scorecard on our performance, as well as, our performance compared to our competitors.
Builds talent communities and drives candidate engagement. Develops the talent hive, trains the users and measures the success. Creates and implements an employee ambassador program. Educates, trains users and manage the usage of social recruiting tools and best practices. Seeks out and builds an internal community of subject matter experts.
Works with internal partners to stay current on trends in employer branding and social media in order to leverage them for a competitive advantage for clients. Willingness to stay up-to-date on new social media tools, best practices and how other organizations and companies are using them, so NYULMC can continue to be an early adopter of these technologies.
Responds quickly and effectively to inquiries from the Senior Director and Sr. Vice President regarding recruitment issues/problems.
Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, English/Creative Writing, or related discipline. A minimum of 3 years of digital marketing experience, content creation, and experience managing social media properties for organizations required. Must have strong working knowledge of web and social media analytics systems such as Google Analytics. Must demonstrate an in-depth understanding of how organizations can strategically use social media to connect with target audiences on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and other venues. High passion and positive attitude, organized and able to multi-task, and proven record of innovation and execution of social media programs. The ideal candidate must be project-oriented and have a thorough understanding of how to communicate effectively in a digital environment.
Must be proficient with MS Office and Adobe products and possess excellent communication skills.
Prior presentation skills and Healthcare background with a focus on Recruiting and Sourcing experience is a plus.
