Job Duties and Responsibilities:Program administration:Curriculum & Course Administration: Assist with curriculum review and implement any necessary revisions. Manage course schedule and classroom needs. Oversee the administration of capstone process. Ensure appropriate student access to software programs & systems for use in the program.Instructor review and hiring: Post lecturer positions in appropriate channels, working with finance and administrative team to ensure compliance with University HR practices. Participate in interviews for adjunct lecturers for teaching appointments. Make recommendations for appointment to Provost's office, with appropriate materials. Budget and financial management: Develop program budgets and monitor program's fiscal performance, within guidelines established by the University and the School. Develop and implement strategies to ensure realization of the program's annual budget target. Admissions and registration: Work collaboratively with Graham School staff, including marketing, enrollment management, and other administrative directors to implement admissions processes and policies and practices for prospective students. Manage faculty review of admissions for prospective students, as well as notification process. Organize and deliver orientation sessions for new students. Work closely with enrollment management staff to ensure student status is current within the registration and CRM systems. Provide regular reporting to Senior Director and Graham leadership on student inquiries and admissions activity. Student support and management: Oversee advising for students enrolled in the MSc program. Work collaboratively with University offices, including the Registrar, Alumni Services, and Bursar, to execute processes for current students. Manage IRB process, as necessary, for student capstone projects. Staff management: Supervise work of program team of three full-time staff members; conduct annual performance reviews; review and revise position descriptions as necessary to ensure compliance and accuracy with job performed.Team participation: Work collaboratively with University and Graham School staff to ensure consistent, high-quality processes, policies, and procedures are implemented for students and faculty. Develop strong working relationships within Graham and with University of Chicago faculty and staff to ensure continued success of the MScA program.Process Improvement: Manage daily operations for the MScA program to enable efficient and effective processes. Identify and lead process improvement initiatives.Other duties as assigned
