The DEA serves customers in a professional and courteous manner and works independently and efficiently to set up and open various campus locations according to the specific requirements of each operation. The ideal candidate has the flexibility to move from one location to the next location as directed by supervisor(s) in order to meet department-wide needs. The DEA handles daily cash receipts and transactions.
Job Qualifications Required:
High school diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Good customer service and oral communication skills required.
Attention to detail, with knowledge of cash handling procedures required.
Need to possess the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and the ability to take direction.
Proven ability to interact with members of the community representing diverse backgrounds and interests.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Job Qualifications Preferred:
One to three years of experience in restaurant, college or cafe-style food service is preferred.
State certification in food safety, with Rhode Island sanitation certificate, preferred.
