This Research Specialist position provides general research and administrative assistance to the Study of Women's Health Across the Nation (SWAN). Primary activities: triage resource access submissions,overseeing the databases of the Publications/Presentations Committee and New Studies Committee data entry, accessing databases to generate reports and support to committee chairs; point of contact for questions related to the SWAN Coordinating Center (CC) subcontracts; providing research support on grants and papers; providing research support to data analysts and admin support to study leadership. The individual will be expected to be highly self-motivated and actively involved in ensuring productivity for new and existing projects. The position reports to the SWAN CC Project Coordinator.

Additional Education and/or Experience Essential to the Position
Prior work experience or a Bachelor's degree. Must be expert in use of Microsoft Word and Excel. Must be proficient at using databases and have the ability to develop new computer expertise as needed.

The following PA Act 153 clearances and background checks may be required prior to commencement of employment and as a condition of continued employment: PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance.
