POSITION DETAILSWorking under the direction of the HUB Supervisor (Enrollment Specialist), the Enrollment Coordinator will support a small team that works in the College's "HUB" assisting the team as they deliver in-person, phone and email enrollment support services to current and prospective students, families, College staff, and external organizations. As Guttman's One Stop Office, the key purpose of the HUB is to provide counseling and other support services in the core areas of Admissions, Bursar, Financial Aid, Registrar, CUNYfirst student information system and other College and University student support systems. The Enrollment Coordinator will assist the team to ensure the smooth delivery of services and provide support and assistance for all HUB related activities.Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: * Support the student enrollment functions of the HUB. * Assist in the maintenance of student information databases (CUNYfirst, Hobsons, Degree Works, FACTS, Starfish, etc). * Assist students with various online services and systems (CUNYfirst, Hobsons, USDE, NYSHESC, etc). * Provide current students, prospective students, and their families with information regarding all enrollment services at Guttman. * Assist the HUB supervisor in the day-to-day administration of the HUB. * Assist the team in advisement on academic and administrative requirements for inquiring students. * Participate in Admissions informational group and individual sessions. * Issue reminders to students to submit outstanding financial aid verification materials. * Conduct calls to students to alert them to matters affecting their registration. * Assist with graduation verification, immunization requirements, Single Stop referrals, MetroCard and stipend distribution. * Supervise the HUB team during the HUB Supervisor's absence.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree required.CUNY TITLE OVERVIEWSupports student enrollment activities and processing. * Provides direct student services and works collaboratively with other units to support registration, payment, and related activities * Conducts workshops on enrollment management services and processes * Counsels students, staff and faculty on academic registration, admissions, testing, and related processing * Manages student information databases and resolves issues with student records and transactions * Ensures compliance with college, Federal, and New York State regulations and policies * Creates and updates content for web pages, bulletins, and other media to ensure effective communications to students and campus community * May supervise clerical and/or part-time staff and coordinate work schedules * Performs related duties as assigned.CUNY TITLEAssistant to HEOFLSANon-exemptCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITSSalary commensurate with education and experience.CUNY's benefits contribute significantly to total compensation, supporting health and wellness, financial well-being, and professional development.
