We seek outstanding applicants in experimental condensed matter Physics and related interdisciplinary areas, who will enhance and expand the experimental research infrastructure in the department. Applicants must be strongly committed to the teacher-scholar model within a Liberal Arts & Sciences environment in a primarily undergraduate institution. The successful candidate must demonstrate high potential for initiating and maintaining an active and productive experimental research program at Villanova involving undergraduate students, and the ability to attract external funding.

PhD and post-doctoral experience in Physics or a closely allied field is preferred.
