This position evaluates Capital Needs Assessments an associated draft construction scopes and budgets submitted by credit underwriters for developments being rehabilitated. This position is responsible for negotiating necessary changes to the draft rehabilitation scope and proposed budget and making final approval of the rehabilitation scope and associated budget. This position will also assist in trend analysis regarding data collected on Multifamily developments, and will support Multifamily Programs staff in researching and resolving development specific problems during the credit underwriting and construction phases of development.
Knowledge of construction management

Ability to analyze and apply rules and regulations
Ability to read and understand a Capital Needs Assessment
Ability to review and understand a budget
Skill in using R.S Means and/or Marshall and Swift cost estimation tools
Skill in oral and written communications
Skill in Microsoft Excel and Word
Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management or real estate development
Knowledge of accessibility, universal design and fair housing requirements related to multifamily developments
Significant experience in rehabilitation of multifamily housing developments
Additional Salary Information: Salary will be commensurate with applicant's experience and skills. This position includes company paid health, life, short and long term disability insurance. Company pays 50% of dental insurance and offers other miscellaneous insurance programs.
