MSK is seeking an Application Analyst to join our amazing team. The Application Analyst’s function is to gather business requirements and provide in-house consulting for review, upgrade and development of data delivery solutions for the Division of Patient Revenues user community. Additionally he/she is required to work on multiple projects with increasing complexity that includes financial applications in a production environment, customized in-house applications and vendor front-end products used in a multi-platform environment.
You Will Also:
Analyze application issues for current and new systems.
Lead or participate in the design of program and technical specifications for in-house and/or vendor applications that may include data flow, and data storage design, on assigned projects.
Develop application specifications for upgrades, enhancements and new implementations of programs that interface with other applications/databases to meet complex business requirements.
Conduct applications testing; ensure quality of the applications provided to users on assigned focus. Perform systems and integrated test plans on assigned projects.
Maintain business specification documentation on assigned applications.
Analyze and document production problems on assigned systems and resolve data issues with user community.
Participate individually or with a group on special projects determined by the Manager and/or Sr. Manager.
4-7 years experience and an in-depth knowledge of Revenue Cycle Management procedures and/or IT Systems support/development.
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or Information Systems and 2-4 years of experience in Information Systems, Systems Analysis, and/or Healthcare preferred.
A Master’s degree in Information Systems is also preferred.
