Advertised Summary Job Description: The candidate will assist in the medical transcription of renal biopsy reports from voice dictations; accession renal biopsy specimens, giving medical record numbers and entering information into Copath; answer phones,file reports and utilize the Fed-ex software. The candidate should possess good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work independently. Performs other related duties necessary to the unit.
General Minimum Qualifications: Requires two years of college or completion of secretarial school or equivalent business experience, plus a minimum of one to three years related experience.
Bachelor's degree desirable.
Additional Specific Minimum Qualifications: Must be able to type 65 wpm. Medical terminology required.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Copath and Eagle preferred.
