The Contract Administration Associate is responsible for contract intake processing; including indexing and data entry of contract records into the contract management system, monitoring and reporting contract expirations, and processing contract expirations and renewals as directed by Procurement Management.
This position serves as the primary communicator between the sourcing and procurement team as well as legal and external stakeholders in relation to current and potential contracts. Strong organization skills, excellent computer proficiency, commitment to customer satisfaction and the ability to work well in a team environment are critical to success in this role.
Maintain the integrity of departmental records through timely and accurate processing of all contracts
Record and track document receipt and related correspondence and following up on initial questions / actions required to get the contract to the initiation phase
Initiate contract processing via input of contractual records, initiating the contract cover sheet, and routing contract documentation and correspondence to the appropriate parties
Prepare and distribute standard, custom, and ad hoc reports as requested
Perform data analysis with data from the contract management and purchasing systems
Manage, negotiate, and execute contracts, renewals, business associate agreements, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), and various other contracts involving industry partners
Liaise with Legal, Sr Business Management, Vendors, Procurement and Sourcing Teams to maintain effective working relationships and maximize contract processing effectiveness
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Pre-Law, or any other related area
0-2 years experience with procurement, business analysis, logistics or other procurement functions
