Clean and maintain temporary housing spaces. Empty wastebaskets & recycle bins; clean and disinfect all bathroom surfaces, including wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers; replenish paper products and linens; clean all kitchen surfaces and inside/outside of microwave; clean dishes and frequently used appliances (microwave oven, conventional oven and stovetop, coffee-maker, etc.) as needed;spot clean and vacuum carpets , rugs and upholstery;dust/polish furniture, fixtures, pictures, woodwork, blinds, fans; vacuum and mop floors;moves furniture, equipment or fixtures as required; wipe down glass surfaces; change and launder linens; clean interior of refrigerator when needed; load/unload dishwasher; may replace light bulbs; advise your supervisor of any maintenance/repair issues. Understand and follow all safety rules and guidelines.
Requires High school/GED. 1 year of relevant experience. Skill in following verbal and written instructions. Knowledge of cleaning equipment, products, techniques and standards. Skill in using cleaning products and equipment. Ability to effectively communicate.
Service orientation. Attention to detail. Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
Final candidate will be expected to pass a criminal background check.
