We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a FGP Sec I-Intake/Sched (35).
In this role, the successful candidate will be supporting The Anxiety and Mood Disorders service and handle administrative support for multiple clinicians and serve as a liaison between those clinicians and their patients/patient families. The hours for this position are from 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
Assisting visitors with inquiries about our center
Checking-in patients and other visitors
Managing and expediting incoming phone calls
Providing coverage for support staff as necessary
Assisting clinicians with special projects including presentations, mailings, etc.
Sending reports to patients and score questionnaires for clinicians to review prior to appointments
Corresponding with other healthcare providers
Corresponding with insurance companies for pre-certification of prescriptions
Managing prescription orders and entering into patient charts
Scheduling patient appointments and following up on patient requests
Managing multiple clinician calendars
Assists in special projects, scoring of behavioral rating forms, and analyses as required
Distribute clinical information to providers (reports, memos, etc.) as required
Preparing expense reimbursements
Provide full range of office support services including answering phones, monitoring voicemail and distributing messages, sending faxes, maintaining scanning forms, and other materials as needed
Additional responsibilities as required
To qualify you must have a Bachelors degree or high school diploma with 2 to 4 years work experience Demonstrated experience with administrative tasks, customer service, a positive attitude and interest in working in healthcare Extremely organized, strong problem solving skills, ability to easily multi-task and excellent attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Adherence to HIPAA
Intermediate knowledge of computer-based scheduling and appointment programs strongly preferred.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
